1. This is the first I've heard of these plans

2. All EU member states are required to observe DST from the last Sunday in March until the last Sunday in October

But, yeah, I'd watch it even if I lived in Cambodia.

that's the best way I guess Oh man that would be annoying. I think the only part my friends and parents like is the voting, so thankfully they're usually quiet

That was a brilliantly fitting description

If you want true, honest simplicity, listen to the Finnish ballad

(Well, I better leave this "battle of the ballads" now, as I only get hurt when people don't appreciate ours... )

This made me laugh; does she have something against eastern Europe?

As of now the battle of my ballads is Finland versus Albania, with Belgium in 3rd...so preaching to the choir...

She seems to have something against most of mainland Europe, to be fair (not that her grudges are fair).

About 7ish I hope conty - I've given myself a ridiculous amount of work to do (my old system, which worked perfectly well when there were 20 entries is a touch unweildy with 42 )

Macedonia is just amazing on the Eurovision in Concert video!!

Although why do some of them insist on just miming on top of a CD??

The results are always good fun. Surprise winners, surprise losers and even the odd controversy.

Can remember someone being announced the winner but then we found out the results were wrong and Lena ended up winning that contest.

Edge of the seat stuff

What's the betting that it's because I've now voted?

conty first glance and I read that totalllly wrong

I think I would struggle hosting one of these big contests now, I found the 20 or less contests difficult

That would have been my guess too Ulfie, but no!

VOTING NOW CLOSED

We have 3 dissenting non voters, and one international jury voter

Frankly I can't be arsed to give a penalty to the non-voters...there's so many of us it really doesn't make that much difference - are we ok with that?

I was quite surprised a how many entries from a certain country I gave points to!

Maybe I'm beginning to reach the consensus on here...

Oh god, I've forgotten again It's number of voters rather than number of 12's in a tie isn't it?

The only ones that mimed were Romania and San Marino - based on what I've heard from previous years, I thought that was pretty good. They're both awful songs anyway so it's not like anyone cared.
