Should DS have a separate forum for Immigration ?
Since every other thread on this forum is on the subject of shall we call it immigration.
Should DS set up a forum to allow people to discuss Immigration, it will then allow the rest of to debate other political topics more freely. I know that people have strong views on the subject, but I for one am tiring of the same old stuff. Furthermore I do not find it surprising at all, and do not need to be constantly reminded that there are ar*eholes in our society that do not have white skin, just as I am not surprised in the slightest that there are ar*eholes in our society that do have white skin,,,,, |

Threads could have a brown background colour and we definitely need that St George cross in a white circle on a deep red flag as a special icon.

Are you sure you're not just suggesting a separate forum because like most lefties you don't have a particularly adequate defence of Nu Labour's rather dubious immigration policies, and therefore simply want it banished to another forum where you can conveniently ignore it?

Actually its not 100% immigration thread, you get the EU, socialists, Islam, protectionism, UKIP and France all thrown in for good measure. Its a value thread.OK that's enough plugging for now, thanks for the opportunity OP.

What an astute observation.I'm aware I'm risking a life time ban here but shouldn't someone (not me obviously) suggest to our good friend that he doesn't have to post on the topic of immigration. In fact he can just ignore them like I ignore so many other threads. (I won't jokingly mention any possible threads that may be of interest to him as that would get me banned - any sense of humour should be kept on a tight reign) |

![]() Firstly not every immigration thread revolves around New Labour's immigration policies (which I've never seen anyone shy away from defending). Secondly people from left and right both participate in immigration threads, there's no suggestion one side doesn't. The only problem with these threads is that all they tend to end up going over the same ground. |

I guess I really need a sarcasm tag on my posts, I wasn't being serious ya know.....it was a light hearted comment on the idea of ...oh buggerit, never mind.

![]() e.g. How many ways do you think you can "interpret" the crime of "baiting"? As opposed to what some of us often refer to as "banter" - you know the sort of thing you get on all those TV panel shows.. Anyone up for putting a thread up on this confusing issue? I think it would be allowed. Wouldn't it? |

![]() But yes Left-wingers are keen to close down debates like on immigration, because they take one hell of a beating every time. As I say if you don't like a thread or aren't interested in a thread, find one you do like. Is that so hard? (I nearly said so hard to understand? - But that could be spun to be the crime of "goading - so I didn't) |

I cant think of any opinion I have that I cannot post on here. I would be interested to know what opinion you feel you can't post on here, rather than hiding it behind a winky smile. |

Don't mind Gravy, he's aspiring to victimhood. It's quite sweet in a way.
