Okay cheers, so its just a normal plan but with GPRS Premium added? And the normal orange internet APN? Reason why I ask is because I have always had a 7.5mbps cap using that configuration and I have always had to use the consumerbroad APN along with GPRS Premium to get faster than 7.5mbps... Can I ask; when did you get the plan? & where abouts in the country are you? Cheers!

For anyone annoyed with T-Mobile at their (supposedly non-existent) cap please sign a petition here:
http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/fullmontydatacap/ Please stand up to T-Mobile's dishonesty! |

Sounds all too familiar.
Back when the cap was ~2Mbps I went through the whole complaints rigmarole with T-Mobile, they repeatedly told me that a) my speeds were not capped and b) they were the fastest the network could support - yet miraculously when a specific booster was added to my account my speeds trebled. I went from this and this to this, yet they still would not concede that there was a speed cap. The booster in question that removed the cap costs £10/month (which is why I removed it again, there's no way I'm paying that to improve my speeds) and can be added via My T-Mobile.. It's named '1GB Internet Allowance' and is hidden away under the 'My Plan' section of My T-Mobile, in the 'Nameless group' of services that can be added. |
