Agreed. It's a complete non-story. Apparently it was suggested that Matt might want his beard trimmed but that's not good enough for the tabloids so they changed it to shaved.

Also, according to some of the contestants' tweets, they've had great training sessions with Will, Dante and Yvie (the vocal coach). They also have to have choreography sessions if necessary. Will doesn't need to be there all the time. None of the coaches are there all day every day. They would have a problem getting coaches to be on the show if they had to give up their own careers for the length of the show.

Yes I follow a few of the contestants on twitter and they have been tweeting about rehearsal sessions and they all seem completely happy with it. How long do people expect the mentors to spend with them, they only need to learn a song hardly rocket science surely 3 40-1 hour sessions (or however long they have as each paper has different times) are long enough for a mentor to suggest different arrangements etc.

And styling participants! It's disgusting. They are going to run this country right into the ground if they do things like that. We are now all doooomed!!

If the coaches weren't so over the top with all their rubbish or Reggie Yates hadn't mentioned the word credible 100 times in every interview he did, no one would care.

When I say every TV show I actually mean every TV show as in chat shows, breakfast shows, talent shows, comedy panels and even news presenters have stylists before they go on air. How does someone suggesting clothes make a show less credible?

I'm pretty sure when they said they were unlink other talent shows (Xfactor) they were talking about talent, not someone helping a contestant to look there best before going on national TV live in front of millions of people.

This 'credible' claptrap is what tripped up Fame Academy.

Let's face it The Voice is a talent show is a talent show is a talent show. It has a different gimmick at the blind auditions but that's it.

The hysteria from some on here that all The Voice contestants were all better than anyone on The X Factor then we see acts like Samuel Buttery, Billy Bob and Jolene (I think that's their name, it should be) and the screeching girl who thinks she's Leona Lewis.
