This time tomorrow, I will be either drunk through happiness, or drowning my sorrows.
Dont let me down boys. |

Work forbids me from drinking on a school night.
That will be different tomorrow night, whatever the outcome. |

Will I go to the pub to watch it?
Hmmm.... What annoys me about going to the pub are the amount of people who go there with no interest in football just to wind up those of us who are. They'll shout silly things, cheer at the wrong time and generally be desperate to get a rise out of someone because they think it's funny. But will streams be particularly poor tomorrow? I may be left with no choice

Daily Mail says we're 'closing in' on Shinji Kagawa and set to offer £5m.
Bet you anything you like a £27m bid from City is just a heart beat away. |

Oh no, one's woke up in a giddy mood.... Nervous giddy, that's going to be fun all day... God knows what I'm going to be singing..
Saturday - Jingle Bells Sunday - Auld Lang Syne Monday - ?????????? I don't believe it, I wasn't thinking and I'm humming the theme from Rainbow.... That's nerves for you. |

..... Nice to see the Liverpool thread is infused with as much class and dignity as ever. They can't see that the Hodgson witch-hunt just looks petty, spiteful, vindictive and in light of where £120m+ from their saviour has got them - bloody ridiculous. Mocking the man as 'Woy' just because he couldn't turn their sinking ship around within five months. Horrible, horrible lot. |

![]() I went the other way to work to avoid the Etihad - I couldn't face even seeing it. M was all stressy as well this morning - yesterday I ironed and starched his shirt (he's going to OT straight from work), he'd laid out his Bobby Charlton/George Best cufflinks and his big coat with it being horrendous weather. Naturally today is glorious so instead of just changing the coat he was being stubborn and still put it on. Just had an email saying he's going home in a bit to change it. Dad has told Mum not to tell him the score til the final whistle. Twice he's rung me when he's out to check our score against Everton in the final minutes and well you can guess how that ended up!! |

I'm not saying that's what I'd do, but hey ho... One of us has won every honour available in the real life, whilst I've struggled on Football Manager..... Trust in what Sir Alex beieves and if it fails so be it. |

anyone else get really bored when the bbc talk about the manchester derby? You just know within 30 seconds they will always bring out docherty and summerbee for some pointless platitudes.

I'm sick of seeing about tonights game full stop.
If I could have, I would have slept since last Sunday and woken up tomorrow and missed it all. |

There is a drug to help you do that isn't there??? I couldn't do that, it spoils the fun of things. I think I'm drunk on nerves, stress and excitement. I've not even considered if I'm going to find somewhere to watch the game tonight yet.
