I've just finished watching season 6 and i'm now getting through the All Stars one

My question is in what season does the eviction set up change? In later seasons that i have watched the house guests vote live in the DR and you can actually see who votes for who... Which is so much better!

It's really annoying not finding out who votes for who. Like in the first eviction of season 7 i've just watched where Alison got evicted by a vote 8 - 2, i wanted to know who actually voted for who because it only shows some!

I'm not sure when it changed, but I believe the shows website would release them at the time, and they are now all on Wikipedia. The only problem is, the contestants are listed in finishing order, so it's best to avoid it until the end of the season.

Diane and Nakomis voted for Alison by the way. It didn't make the show, but the three of them were forming an alliance when Alison was sent home.

When Big Brother changed the rules in Season 2 they would have the Housemates vote prior to the start of the live eviction.

While in the Diary Room Big Brother would ask the Housemates about their thoughts of the two nominees and then vote. In order to show what each Housemate thought during the live show some votes were skipped when it was clear that the majority of the House was going to evict the same person.

During the late half of BB5 they started to have live eviction votes. During BB6-BB7 the started midway with the live votes to accommodate the Jury House footage.

Starting with BB8 (or it could be BB9) live eviction votes were a standard from the first eviction. When Big Brother switched to live eviction votes there is hardly any time to see what the Housemates are thinking about the two nominees during the live show.

For BB2-BB8 the Big Brother website would post an official voting history table on their website.

Now the official table on CBS has an error during Week 5 but the Wikipedia table is correct because the information used during that week was taken from the live broadcast.

CBS has not released an official voting table for BB9-present because all the episodes contain all the necessary information and during the live finale all votes are revealed regardless of outcome.

An example of this would be

.

Now while CBS is good about making sure all of the Housemate votes are revealed they are not as good with the eviction/to win percentages when present.

Here are the irregularites with the public vote (Note: For anyone that hasn't seen the seasons mentioned below I have blocked out as much of the spoiler information as possible) :
--Big Brother 1 had two evictions were the eviction percentages were not released on the show or online until a few weeks after the fact.

--None of the America's Favorite Juniors/Favorite Housemate votes from BB7-present (excluding BB8) have had their percentages revealed.

--During Big Brother 8 the viewing public were given an eviction vote via

They also never explicitly released the results of the first HoH vote in BB10. All that's known is that Jerry got 4 votes, Renny got 3 (one of which was April), and on the feeds Libra revealed she voted for Brian (funny since they later hated each other).
