Exactly! I don't get why people really still going on about this?! It's known now that it's pre-recorded and it's something the BBC have done with other reality programmes without the moans last week's show generated.

Maybe I'm growing out of these types of shows, or maybe it was a duff one but, I found tonight's show pretty dull. I wanted to like it though, wanted the show to just keep getting better and better. Now I'm hoping for the XFactor to start, and both entertain me, and blow me away with talent.

It's to avoid the BGT final, which is 19.30-22.00. A slight clash of 15 mins due to the ridiculously bloated runtime of BGT.
There was a flurry of activity last week when the schedules for that night were being finalised. Originally BGT was down for 18.30 with TVUK at 18.10 (which was obviously bonkers), and then ITV1 moved BGT to 19.30, which is pretty much where they would have wanted it in the first place. Really too early for TVUK; it will take another ratings hit. However once BGT is out of the way TVUK should have a pretty clear run for its final three weeks (apart perhaps from the Champions League final in two Saturdays' time which could dent the later part of TVUK). |

I suppose that England friendly is going to be more of a draw than usual due to it being Roy's first match, but as you say the kick-off time could be worse. |

But haven't the first two live shows had 10 acts? (20 acts into the lives, 5 per coach, 2 coaches' acts performing per week) And they managed to get that into a 90-minute slot. |

I think it'll do fine on eurovision night, the two will go hand in hand with each other as a night of music for the BBC
its next week I worry about with it starting so early, and champions league final week will be tough. Once it rides all of that out I reckon the semis will do ok and then the final will rate really well. Because the british public do love finals and it shouldn't have much competition apart from another england friendly but I believe that will be over by about 7 and I'd hope it would start around half 7 anyway |

Although Aleks gets an extra credit as I think he has a nicer personality.
