I can't get over the fact that this woman who acts as if butter wouldn't melt in her mouth is part of the organisation that blackmailed Charlotte Church's mother over her medical condition and hacked into Milly Dowler's phone.

Im sure some News International journalists know how to recover deleted text messages. Just change David Camerons name to Katie Price and they will be all over it like a hound dog.

Nick Robinson‏ @bbcnickrobinson

Impact of Brooks @leveson for press = judge clearly dislikes abuse of press power to lobby for business interests & to bully their enemies

No thanks ..it struck me as soon as I saw her that she had dressed in a very demure fashion.

If it was £47.50 I might be tempted.

Good choice though in a room full of lawyers all dressed soberly.

For me she failed in trying to project an innocent like air with her dress today ..as soon as I saw her I knew that was the image she was striving for ....

All this coverage of the Leverson Enquiry and only the chattering classes give a toss about it, the great mass of people couldn't care less and think the whole thing is extremely tedious.

Interesting tweet by Andrew Neil on the subject of the first batch of Hunt connected e-mails.

Andrew Neil ‏@afneil

Harriet Harman tells Eddie Mair that she read the emails before calling for J Hunt to resign. But she'd told me she hadn't.

Why thank you! I never knew I was in the 'chattering class' until now and even though I suspect it's not meant as a compliment, it's preferable to being labelled as someone who is either incapable of understanding the seriousness of the issue or worse still, being more interested in the footy, Jeremy Kyle, BGT or Katie Price's baps than how my country is being run

Since when have The Herd ever had a clue about anything other than X Factor and football? I’d rather be a member of the chattering class than the monosyllabic grunting class.
