Yeah I don't why it's airing on 4 July because the euros will be over and they should make up for lost episodes on the days the Beeb don't have a match.

Don't forget EastEnders might not be on during the Olympics because BBC One will have pretty much all day coverage excluding News updates.

I'll be watching much of the Euro's so Corrie will be on auto record on my Sky Plus system and I'll catch up as and when.

When the World Cup or Euro's have taken place before, havent they normally put Corrie on a 10pm, slot, and kept Emmerdale at 7, as all matches will be starting at 5pm and 7:45pm uk time.

Olympics will be on all day except for news breaks on BBC One, EastEnders moves to BBC Two for the duration.

ITV and BBC share the games, so they usually show their soaps on the night the other is showing football to provide an alternative and catch-up on lost episodes.

Also, the BBC Three repeat will probably be gone, because they're showing the Olympics too - they even extended it's broadcasting hours at BBC Parliament's expense.
