As this year is going to be the 10th series of Strictly, I was wondering if anyone would be in favour of a champions mini series to celebrate, possibly in the summer slot the first series had, with all the previous winners coming back. I'd love to see the likes of Jill Halfpenny again and I think it would be really interesting. What do you guys think and who would you most look forward to seeing again?

Great idea. I would love to see all the previous winners back competing .
Of course not all may be willing as it would take a lot of practice to try and get back into shape .

Would be interesting. The likes of Natasha Jill Darren and Mark were marked at times of harsher marking than Chris Kara and Harry. Wonder how they'd compare in a direct contrast. But Jill vs Kara is something I'd wanna see!

Chris and Ola
Kara and Artem
Harry and Aliona

Only 4 of the pros are still here from that list (pending, considering there may be cuts, notably Ola methinks)

I think you can do it with new pros and make it work (I reckon Karen could be up for one last hurrah as such, Ola could come back for that).

Possible new pros:

Jill - either Vincent or Pasha, I'd go with Pasha
Darren - Kristina
Mark - Karen (if she returns) or Flavia, Erin at a push
Alesha - James (if he stays), not sure otherwise
Tom - Natalie or possibly Katya
Chris - Ola (if she stays), maybe Flavia otherwise

The most problematic would be Alesha and Chris, but it can be done.

I would rather see a group of 'second chancers' those that didnt win but were almost did.

I'd love to see Tom Chambers dance again. And Jill H versus Alesha. A champions' competition is a great idea - I can't believe they haven't already thought of it.

i mentioned this last year but it didnt gain any interest then but how about a strictly Legends mini series perhaps on BBC 3 in deepest darkest winter after the main series has finished

The idea of course to feature past popular celebs

I would rather remember the champions as they were. If they came back they may be a massive disappointment the second time round. Remember Darren Gough on Let's Dance for Sports Relief. He was shocking

Or maybe not! I think she suffered enough the first time around with him

Same goes for the other 'sore losers' mentioned particularly Dom Littlewood! He was such a creep! Do we really want to put any of the pros through that again

I'd LOVE Alesha and Matt to take to the floor again! For me there still the best duo SCD has had imo. I can still remember her cha cha cha when i was like 12 (16 now).

I have to disagree - Tom and Camilla for me - magical partnership and that showdance is my favourite of all time, then there was THAT quickstep- genius - a punk song converted into a ballroom special

I did say IN MY OPINION. No i like Tom too, but in terms of technical dancing i prefered Alesha.
I mean that cha cha cha, and the amazing V waltz.
Although, scd is changed. like now in the finals couples only do like 3 dances. Whereas in previous years (2007) the finalist had to do FIVE DANCES.
