Mass Effect 2 for £4.98

I only see it for £14.99 new, or preowned for £9.99

Not finding Mass Effect 2 on game for under a fiver, on play.com though for £8.

Game are the biggest rip off merchants known to man by the way.

Tales of Vesperia is currently £20 on Games on Demand.

Great price for a rare game that can fetch £70 + used.

Why is that? I shop around, like everyone should.
Game & Amazon have the Kinect for £99.98 at the time of typing this, £20 cheaper than Tesco's & £35 cheaper than Comet.

On the other hand, I bought an Xbox Elite 250gb from Tesco's a couple of months back for £135.00, about £25 cheaper than the next nearest.

So why are Game rip off merchants in particular? Have you sold them your used game and found them selling it for double what they gave you for it? (like any decent shop looking to stay in business should)

Forgot to add, I bought L.A. Noire from Game recently, £10 cheaper than Asda were selling it for at the time.
Shop around, that's how you get the best deals, then you don't get 'ripped off' because you saw it, bought it, then saw it again in the next shop cheaper, resulting in you kicking your self.

You can change your gamertag for 560 points at the moment.

So you you've been thinking about a change now would be a good a time as any.

Used it on Monday and got the game yesterday lunchtime. Just checked the disk and no issues. Looks like I've got my weekend's gaming sorted!

Pretty damn good deal if you ask me!

Not a game but I've just bought my first Xbox from Amazon who are doing a bundle deal at the moment. The 250gb console with Forza 4, Xbox live gold membership for 12 months and you can add a new release game for £15. I ended up getting 7 games and came in about £280 which I thought was a really good deal?

As far as I'm aware, if you still trade in a game against it, you'll get another 33% on your trade-in.

Indeed. With GAME's full relaunch I would expect some useful promotions. For example their Nexus 7 trade-ins are pretty competitive. Let's hope they get it right this time, as I do enjoy browsing around a 'real' gaming shop.

If you have an Elite on its last legs ( like me ) and intend to buy either COD black ops11 or Halo 4 then this trade in that includes either game and the console @ £99 may be of interest to you
