Just saw a Harveys advert with people singing God Save The Queen. I muted the TV in the first 5 seconds I heard the song!

The DFS song with the awful 'quirky' song with a singer who can't sing. Another failed art student probably.

Lots of appalling adverts on nowadays, but there's still only the Parkinson flogging life assurance one that makes me dive for the mute button.

I'd enjoy shoving his free Parker pen up his jacksie.

I knew this would start annoying people very quickly.

"What type of music is that?"

"This music is`Britain`"!!
Just you wait till they release "Now That's What I Call...Adverts", featuring the Confused.com choir, Girl on the Platform and of course the Go Compare man in all their full-length glory.

There are plenty of them available.
I remember buying my mam one in the mid to late nighties.

It was something like The Best TV Advert Music In The World....Ever!

Since when did women have to be such aggressive, horrible people in adverts? And men, the morons that have to live with them?!

And everyone knows the only people stupid enough to pay for those services on their mobiles are young teens.
Oh god, they're still going? I remember them years ago and actually shouting at the screen "IT'S A RANDOMLY GENERATED NUMBER WITH 2 NAMES YOU'VE GIVEN IT, YOU DUMB FOOL :@ AND YOU'VE JUST PAID ABOUT 3 QUID FOR THE PRIVILEDGE". People who text that crap deserve to be ripped off.

The Nivea for Men ad that looks to be an old ad from about 1996 (?) - its funny seeing old adverts but surely they could make a new ad - you can even see Ince and Sheringham before Venables at the end

What is it with this whistling thing? It seems to be cropping up on more ads and trailers. Smacks of patronising 'chirpy cheeky jack-the-lad-with-a-powerdrill' cr*p.
It must be either:-
1. A new preset on the synthesiser.
or
2. Some bloke who does this kind of thing and now every idea-free dimwit in adland wants him.

Any advert that features the Diamond Jubilee.

How dare a commercial enterprise hijack this occasion for their profit.

Saw some of the Comedy Gala on Channel 4 late last night, and again it had Jimmy and Alan Carr in some of the ads in between, it was really funny as usual and this time they gave the Go Compare guy a one way flight ticket, see here, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BB3oC8oXnLc

They did others but can't find them as yet on YouTube...
