Saladgate

I was puzzled as to why Victoria still called Lydia her friend in the house when Lydia was the one who shared out the salad.
She made them all a bowl of fresh salad but gave Victoria a half filled bowl of shrivelled up lettuce leaves from the day before.
Some friend Lydia is.

The fresh salad should of been shared out to everyone no matter how small the portion might be. To be offered day old salad when everyone gets fresh would be insulting, I would of thrown it straight in the garbage. If Lydia thought it was OK, why didn't she have it herself?

It seems to me that the house-mates had collectively decided they wanted Victoria to go out of the three.

Lydia was jumping on the bandwagon to make Victoria feel like the odd one with the salad whilst giving herself a bit of air time, I think she knew what she was doing because, yes, in the real world if she prepared the meal she should have had the limp lettuce instead of tucking into a huge bowl of fresh food herself.

I got the feeling that Lydia made the salad and was aware it wasn't shared well. Victoria was in the DR.

Then evenrybody came along and helped themselves, leaving the worst for Victoria. Lydia then made an attempt at remedying it and added some other salad in.

I'm more shocked that everybody in the house wanted to eat salad. Most young chaps I know eat protein and carbs and not much else (and lots of girls too).

I am guessing they are all concerned about putting on weight.

With so little footage being shown I wonder if resident chef Luke A, has cooked yet?

I think the salad was meagre and Lydia added to Victorias, I thought the others had chicken salad which is why Lydia felt Victoria should have some more.

She didn't give her old lettuce, she added salad from the day before so Victoria had more than everyone else.

Just watched it on repeat show now and Ratface is clearly in the wrong for doing what she did and then has the nerve to call her ungrateful for putting old salad in her bowl....nobody elses, so why wouldnt she feel singled out

It's getting bad when the producers have to create "gates" when viewers can't be arsed.

I think people are reading too much into it. Victoria had a small portion, Lydia added to it, seemingly with good intention.

People always think there's an ulterior motive behind every little thing that happens in that house.

Thing is shes a vegan which means she will be very keen to eat as fresh and vitamin packed as possible because it will be difficult for her to get good nutrition in the house. As soon as you cut a vegetable it starts to leach vitamins so a day old salad will be of little or no nutritive value......and she was the only one to be given it...I can understand her feelings about it .

I had a big eyerolls moment when that beauty appeared on the screen. At least we could live with the delusion that that the 'gates' were naturally evolving. Now we're being told outright what they are.

I was shocked by Lydia's behaviour. I thought it verged on bullying.
