Yes.

Just played this through for the second time: Still amazing. I must have taken a different route this time as I missed a huge section and completed it in about 1.25hrs... much quicker than my first play. Met just one other player this time but did about 90% of the Journey with them... they fell off a high ledge in the snowy section and I didn't see him/her again!

I bought the soundtrack to Journey off the Playstation store for £3.99 as I love the music.
But I was a bit surprised to find it costs less to buy on iTunes - it's £3.49 there.

Got this today and it was awesome! I heard the average time is about 2hrs, but I completed it in less and I can't wait to play again.

I really thought that I only met 3 people, but a load of names came up at the end, I would like to have known when they came and left, I was sure I only saw 3 different people.. But maybe these others weren't with me long enough for me to notice? Too far behind or ahead?

The third person was good, we didn't require each others help, but we didn't leave each other. I met them at the start of the big mountain climb. They got pushed back by the wind and then we started the climb together, hiding together and get hit by the dragon. I was quite gutted that just before the final climb they didn't make the balcony jump. I waited a little, but no-one came, so I finished it by myself, which in a way was also good, I got so far with others and had to finish it by myself.

I haven't played Counter Strike, but I agree that you can connect with other players with fairly basic communication options. Demon's/ Dark Souls does this really well. I liked the gestures and commands in Metal Gear Online too.

Bought this last night (thursday) and complete it within an hour about 10 minutes ago

I'm not sure why but i like it, i like that even though everything is pretty much the same it all feels different

I also love the companions, i genuinly thought i'd met three people and at the end it listed 8, one person in particular i spent most of the time with in the snow section and he just disappeared in the next section

Not sure if i have missed something though, people are calling it a masterpiece/art and saying it made them emotional, not sure why though

Overall its a fun game, but then again so was Uncharted 3 and that had a desert section that was more inpressive graphically and then it had the rest of the game, also prince of persia has better sand and better puzzles, so calling this a masterpiece is just wrong imho, if you are on the fence about getting this wait for a sale or wait for it to end up as one of the free games on ps plus once all the sales dry up

Graphically the game is amazing, and the physics are very impressive. However, I don't think that it's much more than a glorified platform game. Take away the beautiful graphics and it wouldn't get such glowing reviews.

I guess I look more for a decent story in my games these days, and this didn't have much in the way of a decent story (despite the murals depicting various events).

I just didn't feel any great emotional attachment to it.

A pity - a definite missed opportunity.

Play 'Dear Esther' on the PC or Mac if you want a more emotionally involving experience along with beautiful graphics and a superb score.

Interestingly, I feel the opposite. I played Dear Esther and I didn't find it as engaging as I did with Journey.

Fair enough, nothing wrong with having a different opinion.

Personally I love this game... my only thought was perhaps it could do with a couple more levels, but all in all I found the game to be good fun with excellent graphics and sound track

I'm now partly reversing my hasty post (must have been in a grumpy mood that day ........ ) - I now think that Journey is simply wonderful. So much so that I've also bought the soundtrack.

However ......... Dear Esther still just has the edge.

Glad you 'got it' after your initial dislike Iggyman!

Just finished my 3rd play-through of this game, the longest yet at 2.5hrs. Met 5 other players along the way. A great experience yet again.
