Tex Murphy games

Does anyone remember the Tex Murphy adventure games, or still play them?

I've been playing Under a Killing Moon, Pandora Directive and Overseer over the last few weeks. They don't make them like they used to.

I've always enjoyed the humour of these games and I wish that Chris Jones would make another one, especially considering the cliffhanger at the end of overseer. Apparently, he's purchased the rights to the series but is currently occupied with another game series.

I had a copy of Under A Killing Moon. The main thing I remember is that my PC was too slow for it, so moving around using the mouse/keyboard was a nightmare! Being young at the time, I was more impressed by the fact that it featured real video footage rather than the story, which I didn't really follow. I found Inspector Burns very amusing! Oh and I hated the puzzles where you had to reconstruct notes by piecing the torn scraps of paper back together!

That's the same for me, I was about 10 when I got UaKM and I don't think I played it properly for a couple of years, although I always found Rook, the pawn shop owner, funny and I liked the music at the beginning of each day.

The reason I started playing them again was because I found some videos on youtube from a complete play through of the game.

Edit: Here it is:

Here's a new interview with Chris Jones and Aaron Conners, in which they discuss "Project Fedora":

"Here's a little tidbit our government boys missed'. I still remember that quote from the Pandora Directive installer. It beats the hell out of 'HMI Module Alpha Humana...'
