have to agree, its just a way for the same person to get their name bumped regularly. Wouldnt mind if they were regularly posting in the football section but i have a feeling these people browse the whole forum making threads theyve no real interest in.

I'm not sure I follow, is it the creation of a thread for each individual match?

We had individual match threads for the World Cup, as well, and quite possibly the last Euros although my memory isn't that great. Personally I think they're useful for concentrating the discussion. This is the football forum, I don't see what else you think should be talked about in this sub-section, it's not as if there's too much else going on in the footballing world at the moment.

Wow you would think you weren't allowed to create threads unless you have posted in this forum enough times.

The threads always end up very popular, so I really don't see your problems. If anything this thread just looks like you are screaming for attention

Is it backlash to point out that your incorrect in writing that only one match will be broadcast in HD tonight?

I don't think we need a subforum, the individual match threads are a good idea in my opinion, so that each match can be discussed and not get cluttered with posts discussing other teams/matches.
