PC changing colour
The screen on my pc has changed colour, before it was a quite bright to look at, which didn't bother me, not though it's quite greyish and difficult to see. I haven't changed any settings.
Also occasionally when I turn pc on, a strip of white covers my wallpaper. Any idea if anythings going wrong with the machine |

Have you tried using the factory reset/return to default settings option that most monitors have? It should be on the monitor menu somewhere.
Have you got another PC or laptop you can connect to the monitor? If you have, connect that and see if the results are the same. If they are, try changing the cable you use to connect the PC to the monitor. If the problem then still persisits the monitor could be starting reaching the end of its life. |

That to me sounds like the display is on it way out, especially because of the strip you have mentioned. Don't quote me on it though.
Is it a laptop screen, or a monitor you are using? If it is a monitor you may need to buy a new one, if it is a laptop you have a bigger problem, as you will have to pay for a new screen unit and also someone to repair it |

Assuming it's not a hardware fault that you have. I had this when using a browser; the screen would darken slightly. I fixed it by changing the graphic card settings. It will be different for different graphic cards, but if you can find a setting ticked that allows applications to control colour setting, change this to use the graphic card settings only.
