I just upgraded from IE8 to IE9 and the status bar dont show the green bar when a page is loading. Is this a thing thats IE 9 dont use anymore.

If you Right Click on the grey area where the menu bars are and you click on Status Bar, it will be ticked and the bar is shown

If you want the progress of web pages loading you can buy (from xinify.com in the USA) a program to do this for $9. Link: http://www.xinify.com/StatusBar-Prog...2-1USR-VS1.htm

You see in the tabs bar, of each tab.
Notice in the tabbed window youre on, the little blue ie icon changes to a circular "loading" icon animation when the page is loading. I think microsoft has ditched the green bar for that instead. |

Similarly, I had to install a third party add on to restore the page titles to the title bar in IE9. Kind of annoying when they remove useful features that have been there for years instead of giving people the option of turning them on/off.
