i'd second fleabay but since the stuff is second hand dont expect anything to last a long time and theres no sale of goods act etc should the drive die 3 days after it arriving but that wouldn't stop most people from complaining that its just shy of having their kids raped by gary glitter if something dies that they've paid pence for second hand

Why would you want them (hard drives) ?? old ones, that is ?
I can just glance down and look at about about a dozen old hard drives beside the computer, old IDE and Sata drives from various computers .... most work fine and a few are dead.
The only value is the information that may be stored on them, otherwise they are worth next to nothing.

An old computer can last a hell of lot longer than a hard drive. Buying an old hard drive is asking for trouble.

If it’s for an old computer it may not be worth the expense of a new hard drive though.

Go to your local tip/refuse depot. You'll probably find a load of old computers chucked out and you might get lucky.
