Punk made headlines last year by appealing to the smarks, but after the initial flurry of hysteria online, it gets old real quick and loses the casual viewer. These days, he's just as bland as Cena, but that's the price of success in WWE. To get over with the kid audience, you need to act childish. It's the writers fault for the most part, but that being said, Punk has a douche element to his personality that can be alienating.

I wouldn't begrudge Kane a short title run he is probably coming towards the end of his career, however hoping Bryan wins possibly with AJs help.

Punk may have held the title for half a year now, but I still feel he is in a bit of a rut. He has become a bit of a self parody. He has embraced all the things he was mocking a year ago, and theres really not a lot of room to be edgy as a WWE babyface.

Also got through watching SD, I really don't like Big Show but I have to say his promo work for this feud has actually been pretty decent, its Cena who has made it all so tedious and thats without mentioning him beating up commentators and a guy on crutches.

Daniel Bryan should be turned face. The fans want to cheer him. WWE should let him use "The Final Countdown" as his theme as he did in the indies. His heel persona is too forced.

I don't see a point in a Kane title reign. He had his 5 month reign in 2010; all it achieved was some crappy defences against 'Taker and Edge.

As WWE booked the world's most predictable heel turn last month, the odds are Kane and AJ were added to this feud to get the belt off Punk and onto Bryan, via Kane taking the pinfall. The promo with McMahon/Bryan confrontation on Monday and DB doing the job to Punk sort of confirms it. AJ probably won't turn heel, but I predict she'll play a part in the outcome and accidently cost Punk the match. By doing the title change they can extend the feud to MITB (AKA who will AJ side with) and then Summerslam (submission match).

Don't want DB to turn face because he'll revert to generic underdog wrestling expert. I prefer the nerd who transformed into a nerd who thinks he's cool.

There are too many "guy who thinks he's cool" tweener characters in wrestling. Most, have such poorly defined characters that it's difficult to tell whether they should be cheered for or booed.

WWE needs to define these guys and make them either outright faces or heels.

Bryan's great as he is. Wouldn't hate the prospect of him being face, but can't help but think they'd turn him into just another dull 'nice guy'.

I guess it shows how dedicated JR is to the company. Maybe when Vince leaves the company to Triple H JR will get some actual respect, even if HHH can be just as big an ass as Vince at times. Personally I'm quite happy for Bryan to stay a heel, I really don't think it hurts to have a heel who can get a response out of the crowd, its only good for the shows when the crowd get involved in his yes chants in the same way they joined in with Miz's Really and I'm awesome catchphrases when he was ontop.

Daniel Bryan just doesn't work as a traditional WWE face, principally because the way he speaks never lends itself to getting himself over with the crowd in a nice WWE face way. When he was a face in ROH, he was analagous to a popular WWE heel or anti-hero.

If what punk said about having a new WWE belt is true,i think it will be unveiled at the 1000th show by big johnny to give to the guy who beats punk finally.

my guess a heel so i expect punk to retain his title tonight but lose it on or just before the 1000th show.

Hopefully Bryan will stay as he is and not be turned face again because he's popular, it will be a real waste.

They had a real chance to freshen The Miz's character at Wrestlemania. He should have been on Team Teddy and have it been an elmination match where he put up a brave fight to stick it to Johnny for not picking him but fail in a 2 on 1 or 3 on 1. He would have then been a face, which he needed (and still does) tbh.

Hi guys as Ive mentioned before Im happy to miss No Way Out tonight the only thing that interests me is this situation with Punk/DB/Kane/AJ. (AJ especially)

Still think Cena will beat Big Show tonight cant see him getting screwed for the 2nd consecutive PPV but then again I hope Im wrong as I like to see Big Johnny remain in charge just love the fact that his character can be deemed as a hopeless idiot he reminds me of Mayor Quimby from The Simpsons.

Love the Major Quimby analogy, like a healthy blend of corruption and incompetance.

I think Cena will win since firstly a cage is meant to prevent interference and Cena doesn't lose clean except to movie stars, secondly because I really hope they wouldn't have another Cenas fired but actually he isn't plot.
