Lentil soup with a cheese, ham and red onion toastie. Perfect hot filling meal for a rainy day like this!

Happy Birthday for yesterday RG!

Tonight we're having chicken with roquito peppers and shallots, which I'm going to stir fry with chilli, cumin and cayenne pepper. And have it with brown rice.

Belated Happy Birthday RG, hope you had a lovely day!

We had a busy weekend, out with my Dad on Saturday and had gammon egg and chips followed by creme brulee.

Sunday o/h Mum and Dad came over for late lunch and we cooked. Mezze starter of olives, feta, sundried toms, roasted peppers and foccaica with dipping oil. Followed by steak, asparagus and hassleback potatoes with hollondaise sauce. O/h mum brought a homemade trifle which was lovely!

Tonight is veg burgers in pitta with humous, beeetroot and feta salad and cous cous.
