Ok, lots of places reporting that the Da Silva twin's agent has said Rafael has a new contract, while Fabio will go to QPR on loan. Hopefully they actually play him unlike Macheda (although at least this time the manager shouldn't be sacked after a couple of days)

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/st...ed-out?cc=5739

The bit I found most pleasing was this:

Quote:
We received some offers from Germany and Portugal, but he preferred to stay in England to remain in touch with the country's football style and so that he would not have a problem to adapt to it when he returned to United.
Good to see he is determined to be a success here.

Clearly the weather hasn't depressed him enough yet...

Parker was quite poor last week vs France and he'll need to have a better game tonight.
Loads of United fans think he'll never make it as long as he has a hole in his arse (but fewer of course as time goes on). I saw on another forum a couple of days ago someone coming out with the line "Am I the only one in thinking Welbeck is shit (or whatever)"? I had to point out the person who posted immediately before him slagged him off no end.
Others then piled in.

Of course I announced to the world when Danny was still at school that he would be an England star. And that was before Fergie said he had a special talent in their youth ranks.

to be fair alot of people in here including myself dont rate Welbeck alot as he seems to be falling over his feet alot, Was a good goal last night and if he can stay on his feet then could be a very good striker, this season for United will be a massive one for the young lad.

To be fair? That's just the point I'm making. That people strangely say: am I the only person that thinks Welbeck is...

When people have been having a go at him for years. More so than now.

Have they said whether or not Rafael's contract involves him playing in a giant hamster gyroball during training sessions just to "be safe"?

No to Bale. Even more than Modric!

People focus on the small amount of good he does, like singlehandedly taking on Milan. They frequently ignore just how consistently he makes the wrong decisions, just runs with the ball and runs out of ideas - just like a Welsh Nani!!!

Tell you the truth, I actually find most wingers extremely hit and miss.

Nani gets a hard time on here in my opinion which isn't really justified, his assists and goal stats match up to both Valencia and Young.

All three of them were shit at various times last season, yet Nani seems to be the only one who gets slagged off.

I find it bizarre.

Who did you cheer on tonight Poland or Check Republic.

I cherred on Check Republic with some friends, I have had a few to drink so my apologies if my spelling is all over the place, I will adopt them the checks as my second team.

I know I have spelt Checks badly wrong.

Greece got one in the first game which was saved. When SirChesney got sent off.

The player who got the penalty - who SirChesney fouled - looked like he had an orgasm celebrating the fact. The commentator said exactly what I was thinking, seeing the way he was acting - 'it hasn't gone in yet'
And it didn't!

Ahh yeah, now I remember, although saying that, it is odd not to have had more by this stage I feel, and at least one should have been scored by now.

I wonder what the lowest amount of pens in a tournement is (not including shoot-outs)??

We must be getting close to the record.

I can understand people not having Modric at the top of their list of players to sign but describing it as their 'worst nightmare' is a complete lie.
