People who talk to you one minute then ignore you the next.
Does it annoy you when people do it?
I understand if someone is busy, but don't see the point talking to someone then stop contacting them altogether for no apparent reason.

It might not mean that they dislike you, but could be down to some other reason.

Usually means they have their wives or girlfriends with them. It is lovely to watch them squirm.

proberbly means they were after something off of you, but now they dont, so no point in being "mates" with you in order to get the thing or skill you have. Or the local rumour mill has been spreading things about you.

I always think when a girl for example comes and talks to me. I get very suspicious thinking its some kind of joke that's why I don't trust anyone.

I know that feeling, having her group of friends giggling and talking behind thier hands looking my way as she walks over and engages me in small talk is kind of suspicious.

Do they ignore colleagues from work, for example, because they think it might somehow offend their other halves to be seen acknowledging their existence ? Sorry, but I simply don't get it. All that's required is "Hi, how are you" ~ it's not engaging in a long protracted conversation. As for the OP's question, there are plenty of people like that around. All over you one minute, then blanking you the next. |

Are you talking about people you're talking to face to face and then stopping and going elsewhere or people who don't talk to you anymore?

No talking about people on the internet chat to you then never hear from them again. Loads meet these days on the internet and make some great friends, maybe am just spending too much time on the internet or one of the select few, who will keep getting ignored for no reason when I haven’t said or done anything wrong. |

I hate this. So many times i've been introduced to friends of friends, and they only talk to me when I am with my friends. If I see them when I am not with our mutual friends they completely blank me. Its the same at work as well. You spend a day working with somebody and you see them in the canteen a week later and they blank you. Maybe its just me.

They're fading you out of the "friendship zone". Just take it as a hint and move on...

It's not as easy as that though if the friendship was important to you and you were led to believe important to them as well. Quite hurtful when it suddenly dawns on you that you've been dropped totally with no warning. I've moved on now and I'm sure the OP will as well but it can be baffling.
