So we have been on Talk Talk forever on Broadband, but had months of faults - (current cost line rental and off peak calls = £20+ for a sporadic 8mb speed, the actual Broadband shows as free on the bill. We already have Virgin calls package - second line was pointless having.)

Having cancelled Talk Talk, I phoned Virgin and she said she could add 60mb Broadband to TV package for £17, also we qualified for a free new Tivo box and they offered to move the current V+ box to a bedroom - the only charge is £49.99 install (she said this was standard fee for the Broadband installation.)

Seems like a good deal, I was expecting her to say £25 for the 60mb Broadband, and maybe £18 for the 30MB (which we could have had for £11 per month - both were for a 12 month contract.

Did she mention a £5 a month TiVo charge? Getting the 500GB box free is common but Virgin paying the monthly TiVo £5 isn't.
