I'd say:
Lisa Stansfield - I always love her voice and she really pushed forward the British Soul genre with her sound. All Saints - they reformed briefly in 2006 but their comeback album flopped which was a real shame as it is a very good album! Duffy - I know everyone thinks Adele is a real deal with 21 but Duffy, to me, has more to offer than Adele sonically. the second album was a bit of disappointment despite some gems and I hope she'll come back stronger (rumor has it that she's back in the studio writing music )And I'm still hoping for a real Spice Girls comeback with a new album etc. - One can always dream... |

Duffy. How did she flop so massively after her huge first album?
Sugababes- I know they're on a 'break', but I need new material. |

Shocked nobody has said Justin Timberlake. He needs a comeback urgently, has so many good songs and quite a unique sound.

I miss Cleopatra. Their second album, Stepping Out, was brlilliant. It's a shame it didn't do well. They have great voices and are very talented. I think they have the potential to come back with a fresh sound. They've hinted at a possible reunion for a few years now but it seems like it will never happen. I know they appealed to a younger audience back in the day due to their age but their songs, especially album tracks were surprisingly mature.

Celine Dion
She's been touring a lot which is great because that is what pays the bills but some new material would be nice. She has been teasing her new album since 2011 but i understand it was delayed as she got quite ill this year with her throat. But seriously Celine, deliver some new goods. |

Well, Foundations was annoying too, so I guess you're saying she hasn't had a good single.
![]() Seriously, that sub-Catherine Tate stage-school enunciated EastEnders accent was really grating. (Kind of made sense when I found out she *was* a graduate of a famous stage school). "Then I'll use that voice that you find annoying". I'd guess that's the same one you sang the whole damn song in, then. ![]() People got bored of her annoyingly nasal cod-60s singing? It's all been downhill for her since she left Prince Andrew and Budgie the Little Helicopter came off TV.

Jamelia.
People forget just how good she was. See It In A Boy's Eyes was awesome with a superb video. Shame that all her talent is going to waste. |

Surprised this one hasn't been said yet - Lily Allen.
Two amazing albums! I know she's talked about retiring a few times, and TBH I don't know where she currently stands on the whole music scene. But I do hope she gives another album sometime soon... |

I agree with Gabrielle and Lily Allen.
I know she wasn't exactly 'here' but there was a singer called Keisha White who did reasonably well with a cover of The Weakness In Me by Joan Armatrading. I'd love to hear something new from her when that soul/r&b vibe is going strong at the moment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvzQImSZMfI |

Agree with Justin Timberlake comeback! He is very talented, he can sing, dance, produce, write...his 2 albums both sold very very well and were very successful, he has a huge fanbase and I'm sure he could quite easily fit straight back into the music industry like he never left.
He would put a lot of these "newer" male artists to shame, that's for sure! |

Would love to see the Screaming Blue Messiahs reform. One of the best live bands I ever saw.

You mean the song that Chris Martin wrote for her and she just sang? Where is the talent there? She was just a bog standard pop singer who was handed good songs and then when that dries up it hardly makes for a sustainable career.
