Lauren...i can't stand her!

I think shes the fakest and the most attention seeking in there. She clings to anyone who may be getting attention and after tonights episode she just really winds me up!

Anyone else dislike her or agree?

I think her vulnerability combined with a bit of feistiness makes her quite interesting

Lauren's my favourite. Her only crime is she likes to be liked and is taking the whispering behind her back too much to heart.

She's pretty funny but a bit naive. Also hot.

I like her. She has done nothing wrong and certainly does not deserve the bitchiness that has been directed towards her.

I hope she goes far and we get to see other aspects of her character.

Lauren's actually my favourite at the mo. Really like her. I think she needs to chill out a bit and play the Big Brother game a bit more, but overall I'm finding her the most likable.

She irritates me in a big way. I cant stand criers, especially when they cry for no reason and she is like that. I see her 'vulnerability' as weakness and I have no time for it!

That. Plus she has a really passive-aggressive personality which no-one seems to have picked up on.

Lydia seems to have picked up on it. In a conversation with Deana last night, she was commenting on the fake friendship between Caroline, Sara and Lauren and said that it was like Lauren was forcing them to be her friend or else they'd be afraid that she would go around saying that the girls didn't like her or were bullying her. ( Lydia's words not mine!).

She has started bitching a fair amount herself though... while carrying on the role of victim.

The other thing that annoys me is her asking people to speak for her, to defend her. She decided her role before she went in there...

Laurens my favourite in there at the moment and doesn't deserve all the bitching about her from Ashleigh and Sara ,she just needs to toughen up a bit and see them for what they are ,instead of trying to get them to like her

You're absolutely right! I'd forgotten that. To give Lydia her due, she is probably the most perceptive one in there.

Her voice is enough to make me dislike her, as is Caroline's for that matter!

Is it perceptive, or just paranoid?

I think that Lauren is too friendly and unguarded for cynics like Lydia to believe in. Doesn't mean she's right.

Doesn't she just !

She's such a manipulative person - her goal seems to be to make anyone who isn't best friends with her feel guilty.

And as Lydia pointed out, she is doing a very good job of making sure that the girls go out of their way to include her, or run the risk of being accused of "not liking her" - A very cunning ploy to ensure they are aware that they may be seen as "bullies" if they aren't nice to the poor little tomboy...

Tomboy my ar*e!! Again, she's put that idea in everyone's head that she's not a girly girl. So - that's a built in excuse to hang out with the boys without being accused of being a flirt.

I really don't believe this stuff about her being a very vulnerable, sweet, naive, innocent farm girl who just wants people to like her. If it was true, why would she apply for Big Brother in the first place - and more crucially, how on earth would she get through the stringent interview process?

And - she never really seems to be listening when other people are talking, she just speaks over the top of them. Another sign of passive aggressiveness. "Oh yes, yes, I'm agreeing with everything you say, but my voice is more important than yours"

OP - I can't stand her either!

Her waterworks are really annoying. I also think Lydia has a point, the other girls have been emotionally blackmailed into befriending her.
I do however..think that Ashleigh's and Sara's hatred for her, is borne purely out of jealousy.

Lydia was right. Lauren does go round saying that others don't like her. She expects sympathy and lavish attention, whereas the others just get on with it when others don't like them.
