Trust me there are fans like this. The worst ones are Justin Bieber fans followed by One Direction fans.

I blame the parents!

A child posting something on Twitter is hardly news.

You get that on here sometimes. One poster saying Kylie was more talented than Kate Bush and saying stuff like "Oh yeah? How many number ones has this 'Kate Bush' had?", etc. Some have said Westlife are better than the Beatles.

I'm sure there are loads who think Beiber is better than Kurt Corbain. Why all the fuss? They're the idiots.

I am sure this is a troll but so what these kids probably think this is true for now. KC isn't relevant to them at this moment same with 1D fans and the beatles. The beatles are just something their parents talk about so how can they know they are better than what they know now.

When I was their age the big music icons of my parent's generation meant nothing to me . I only cared about the ones relevant to me

I don't see the fuss either tbh. Its just usual fandom. I don't recall a huge backlash againse Gaga when her fans were tweeting ''Lady Gaga is a bigger inspiration than John Lennon'' not so long ago.

It's funny seeing all these 12 year old hipsters who've probably only heard one Nirvana song blowing their fuse about the Beiber troll. All fans have idiots, best to ignore instead of giving them attention.

Beiber/1D should enjoy their fame now. In a few years their fans will grow up and there will be someone younger, fresher and better looking ready to take their place.

I think Bieber might last tbh. His music is maturing quite well. I don't think he will be the star he is now in ten years but I can still see him in the charts. Bieber and Rihanna are the only two current popstars I see lasting long term.

I can't see it with Bieber. I just don't think he has longevity or the talent. If you look at male child stars who have remained big, there aren't that many. Justin Timberlake is still big but I believe he writes his own stuff and is probably more likeable than Justin, IMO.

Kids have always been ignorant of artists from previous generations. You will have been exactly the same, unless you were one of these people who only exclusively listen to their parents music because it makes them feel better than everyone else.
Statements like this really irk me...
