But I quite enjoyed the Karen bed scene, though it was too modern for the show, but surely it was meant to be that bad. Ditto on the Dev bit. Boring character and boring plot for him too. The coat Derek wore was atrocious. Shockingly so. |

What happened right at the end? I couldn't record it at the weekend so I watched it online and for some reason it cut out just before the end, what happened after the scene where Ivy was singing and she went to open the door to someone?

Derek was at the door to see if she was ok and massaged her ego a bit. She then said he'd been hideous to her, he said you said i was lousy in bed - in front of everyone! She said i lied........big snog, fall onto bed, credits.

I'm absolutely hooked. I absolutely adore the original songs and can't wait for sheet music and backing tracks to be available.
I love the main characters, evil director Derek in particular. And I'm still finding myself torn between Ivy and Karen over who I want to triumph in the end and take the part of Marilyn to Broadway. So tempted to find the later episodes online and watch to the end of the series but am trying to ration myself as I believe the second serious won't be out until next year. Watching the episode about the workshop I wondered about the scene where Bernadette Peters is performing to the ensemble - some of them were sitting there filming the big star on their mobiles. Couldn't help but wonder how much of that was scripted and how many of them had actually whipped their phones out to record their moment in front of one of Broadway's legends! |

I am loving this! My favourite program right now by miles! The songs are great, the acting is fab - I absolutely hate when it ends! Also must say Jack Davenport is lovely! He's definitely a reason why I'm so hooked
I want Derek and Karen together. Ivy annoys me.I think Dev might develop as a character and it's nice Karen has a settled home life. Do not like the Julia/Michael story line. I also didn't see the need to bring Eileen's daughter in to it last week although I still enjoyed the episode. And yes, Derek's coat! What was that all about? |

I was rooting big-time for Karen at the beginning of the series but now I find her a bit "wet" compared to Ivy. Hate myself for feeling this way! |

I really enjoy this show, really look forward to it every week.
I thought the song with Ivy and Karen singing "Cheers (drink to that)" was brilliant... Such a good series |

"A little lower to the right"
Karen had a rival this week; I always make her songs the best of the week, they always are.....but Tom, and the Towel Boys song,
...was equally as good, a stunning performance. But Ivy, still nasty. ![]() Ellis still snooping...and it's the Bar Owner this time, does Eileen know what he's found out, and what is it. ..but he did hand her all that money, in the Bar.![]() Julia & Son; their fine...nice. ![]() Derek {sorry & nice} vs Dev.....handbags methinks.... ![]() And where have I seen that Rebecca before....

Well I dont know quite what it is about Dev but he is my least liked character in the show, find the whole political office thing completely boring. Toms song number with the towel boys was brillant probably my favourite number from "Bombshell" yet

Totally agree. Skipped his parts because he annoyed me so much
Christian Borle (Tom) on the other hand is probably my favourite character, loved his Zanek in the Don't Say Yes number

I'm finally caught up with UK pace and I have to say "Rebecca Duvall" is the most unlikely person I could imagine to play Marilyn.
Still love the show even though I'm not keen on Ivy or Karen, although I did like their Times Square duet. I loved Tom's number. No interest in Dev or RJ either.... can't wait for the next ep! |

...and the whole coup thing wasn't that great...but Karen on the

..but he did hand her all that money, in the Bar.
