Smooth Radio - Simon Bates in the Falklands
Have to say its been an interesting week listening to Simon Bates in the morning broadcasting from the falkland islands. lots of interesting stories told and also snippets of where he visited yet still keeping the format of his show.

Totally agree its been facinating hearing what Simon has had to say & also nice to hear the input from the islanders themselves.

I said it at the time, but if this lot were that bothered about being "British" they would move here. It would be cheaper all round to give them all £1m each and the islands to the Argies. Totally senseless.

Glad he's been able to do this. Simon used to make trips like this during Radio 1 times.

Maybe move the 'British' out of Northern Ireland. I missed the shows, working early shift, but can you see Global doing this if they buy and use the Smooth Brand? |

There are lots of things we could do as a nation to make things "cheaper" but that doesn't mean to say it's practical! |

Well I guess we should thank you for signing off with a two word interpretation of your own post.
