Nosferatu in the Pulpit

BBC giving air time to Mandelson for his views on Europe on the Andrew Marr Show.

He must smell money in the Greek crisis to emerge from his festering lair during the hours of daylight and on a Sunday. The casual waving of his claw seems to be mesmerising the hapless Marr.

Erm...he's always about. It's not like he's been hiding away for years.

There's not that many senior UK politicians who have recent experience of working the EU or as Commissioners...not ones who are still alive and have all their marbles...there's Chris Patten of course

...but then he's now Chairman of the BBC...having also been Governor of Hong Kong...have to admire a Tory who manages to stay on board the First Class carriage of the public sector gravy train for so long while his mates are throwing the plebs out of third class

It's good to see him from time to time just to remind ourselves that nobody has yet driven in the stake.

"Andrew, my answers are alway frank and to the point" he smarmed before embarking on five minutes of obfuscation.

I always feel I need a shower after I have a televisual encounter with this snake.
