Not specifically that one but I use the dongles recommended by the manufacturers on my BluRay Palyer and on my Freeview+ PVR. iPlayer-tastic!

I presume it's a Vestel dongle?, as the set is just a Vestel with a JVC badge - but I thought JVC had stopped selling TV's entirely last year?.

I was having the same problem with my MT-Logic TV I've bought in Holland. These Veezy WiFi adaptors are hard to get in Europe. My suggestion would be to email the manufacturer or the company that imports your brand/model TV. Today I received an email from the importer they have a couple of the Veezy-100 dongles in stock and costs about 35 euros including shipping. I figure this is the only way as there are no compatible dongles on the market. I hope this helps.

Veezy 100 Dongle
The model number LT-42TG30J is a Comet exclusive and they are to provide all technical support and all aspects of after sales service under agreement between themselves and JVC Japan. As far as I am aware Medion also use this dongle in some of their models and should be available via their e-shop. I have to admit there is not a lot of information concerning this dongle and it makes me wonder why didn't they use a more common brand such as Netgear?

JVC do still manufacture Televisions but they are made to Comet specifications and sold in their stores as exclusives. If anyone needs support they will need to contact Comet customer services direct, hope that helps.

It seems many people are unable to get the Veezy 100 dongle for their JVC Televisions purchased from Comet. It would be expected for them to also supply accessories if the Television needed them to offer some of its function. Well I have been in touch with Medion as their sets also use this Dongle. My contact with them resulted in a e-mail saying this dongle will be available from their e-shop soon, well it is here at last http://www.medion.com/de/electronics...internet_tv_72
Please note this is not available from Medion UK and there will be other costs such as international shipping. If you wish to purchase this Dongle I cannot be responsible if it does not work. |

JVC, Comet and Mushroom spring to mind. I have e-mailed Medion.de and they will look into locating details of the Veezy 100 dongle, and once I have details I will let people here know. Why JVC and Comet who have exclusive rights cannot supply it is beyond me !

I would suggest:
1) Contacting Vestel in the UK Vestel UK Limited, Grenville Court, Britwell Road, Burnsham, Buckinghamshire, SL1 8DF. Tel 0845 459 5282. I would ask them to help you, explain that they are your last resort before you go to the press. 2) Writing to one of the Sunday papers that have questions-of-cash type columns. The publicity adverse publicity to JVC and Comet should result in the right outcome. I recommend you buy/read the Mail on Sunday & Sunday Times this weekend, check out the right people to contact and drop one of them an email. Good luck, let us know how you get on. |
