![]() I couldn't hear some bits of talking over the crowd, I think the Newcastle crowd was the loudest of all the crowds I've been in.. probably because they'd never had the opportunity to go before. I was really loud on my first time too

Think it was Quantro. Not amazing no but certainly not the worst.
That girl who put more time in to getting ready for the audition than actually rehearsing was bad. Don't think Nicole was impressed at all. Think she said she'd taken something like 3hrs (might've been longer) to get dressed etc for her audition. It was hard to hear some of the talking I agree and the arena was far too hot. Did like Roycey's 'The Voice' dig (about where contestants who don't get through go), he said other places booed that gag, is this true? I tend to doubt these claims tbh. |

(For the benefit of all the confused people not knowing the joke, it was this: 'In case you're wondering what happens next once the contestants leave the stage theres a door that they go through if they're given a 'yes' labelled 'Bootcamp', and if they're given a no they go through the door labelled 'The Voice')I'm so tired of Roycey and the Judges speeches generally to be honest, they all do the same introduction speeches for every sitting in every city, and Roycey recycles the same jokes between acts.. only 'The Voice' gag was new. Even when the girl was leaving the arena and he asked her where she was going and then chased her, he's done that to someone every time i've been. |

It's the first time I've been to watch the auditions, so it was all new to me. I can understand why it'd get boring after hearing the same stuff all the time.
My fave bad one was the guy from Boro. I liked that they called people on using laryngitis etc as an excuse for a poor audition. |

Is Nicole sitting in Kelly's old seat or has Tulisa moved next to Gary?

From what I understand Tulisa was next to Gary during the Liverpool auditions but has since moved back into her old seat. The same happened last year too (although we never actually saw it on screen), Tulisa was originally next to Gary and Kelly next to Louis. Maybe Tulisa & Gary just don't 'click', although I do think at Cardiff on Monday they should swap Tulisa & Nicole around because Nicole & Louis got on brilliantly last time.

There was a really good boyband in Glasgow, too. I can't for the life of me remember their name, but one of them played guitar and I thought they were great

Btw Tyjet - you didn't happen to see a guy at the X Factor auditions (pretty young) that belted out 'Diamonds are Forever' did you? If so...did he get through?

My friend and I were supposed to be at the afternoon session (at the new time of 4.30pm) today but they started turning people away before 3pm! Crazy. As much as we like XF we're not going to stand around in a queue all day just to stand a chance of getting in! Especially today, with the earlier show running over 2 hours late - those queuing for the afternoon show probably won't get in until at least 6.30pm!! I can't hang around queueing like that for hours and hours. Went shopping for cheap cd's instead, lol.
But it's a shame the tickets are via Applause Store and not SRO. With SRO, if you get turned away from one recording they usually give you priority tickets for a show of your choice next time, they're good like that. Not sure if Applause Store do that or not. Ah well. |
