It makes a change from every week being 'Sean week' ...seriously, for someone who cant act and just relies on his natural camp self, it's really annoying seeing him becoming involved in so many scenes/storylines. He was better as a camp/comic background character.

The 'Stella week' sounds interesting, I cant imagine how she will be in every scene, but it could be a good themed week.

Coronation Street/Desperate Housewives crossover in the works.

http://twitter.com/scottbeswick/stat...large?tw_p=twt

Just think how much easier the Housewives' lives would have been if Stella had been there during the original US series...

Tonight's breaking news:

Stella denies tax avoidance claims. The legendary landlady does admit to having a few quid stashed away, round the back, for a rainy day.

David Cameron was too busy making another u-turn to comment.

Wow I am amazed how big this thread has become. Surely this is absolute proof and testament to the fact that Corrie are overusing and thus inflicting this character on us. They should take note. There are other characters on the street; where the hell has Deirdre disappeared to?

Stella rocks the crowd at Hackney Weekend

As BBC Radio One's two-day Hackney Weekend began earlier this afternoon, Stella Price worked the crowd with her stunning performance on the Main Stage.

The 48-year-old landlady began her set with the 127x platinum international smash I Built The Street (Brick By Brick), as she was accompanied by dancers dressed as shirtless builders.

Other tracks Stella sang in front of the adoring crowd included Through The Back and Okay, Love?. She closed the set with Saint Stella (Just Trying To Change The World), her forthcoming single- joined by rapper Nick Tilsley, who appears on the song.

Here's a glossy picture of Stella in action.

Other performers at the event include Simon Barlow's Death Metal Stampede, Sunita & The Sluts and KDS (Ken Do Something).

She's upstairs playing her tapes, and trying to cope with the rejection of Simon having a new grandmother-figure in his life.

In this week's Honours List, it was announced that HM the Queen will be honouring landlady Stella Price with a combined OBE, CBE and knighthood for her tireless work in counselling and supporting the residents of Weatherfield. Her Majesty is said to be a great admirer of Stella's work, as she is credited with single-handedly saving the residents from despair and ruin. Her Majesty said, 'She puts one to shame with her ceaseless workload - one feels quite inadequate by comparison'.

In a departure from the normal custom, it is rumoured that the award will be presented in one of
the private rooms round the back of Buckingham Palace.

Deedrie Barlow Script Changes

After a recent poll noticed that Corrie fans enjoyed Deedrie Barlow Famous Phrase Ken Do Something. So now in attempt to what Phil Collinson calls bring the show further into the 21st century, Deedrie will be brought to the background forefront of the show and every time there is a problem will either call out or head over to the Rovers and with a crow of " Stella Do Something" ask Stella to sort out a problem and Queen Stella will then take them through the back.

Excellent meld of the old and new Corrie staples:

Do something (ken) Stella
and
Through the back!!

Great idea!!

Sunita & The Sluts to release second album

Stella Price's arch rival Sunita Alahan is releasing a second album as part of her group Sunita & The Sluts, it has been confirmed by Slutita Records.

The follow up to 2010's moderately successful F*** Off Dev, I Don't Want To Marry You, the record will be called SNTA and feature tracks such as Gimme All Karl's Luvin and Karl Gone Wild.

34-year-old Sunita said in a statement: "SNTA marks a change in direction for the band's career. The first record was fun to make but it wasn't really reflective of my personality, and being the lead singer it should have been really."

The album cover has surfaced online, and it is to come out next month. There are rumours that it will be released on the same day as I Know How It Feels, I've Been There Too- the second album by Queen Stella Price.
