My problem with multi-endings is that they are so black and white often there is the 'Evil ending' where you are a 100% bad guy, or a good ending100% good guy. There should be more complexity than this.

Every single game over recent years that has been reviewed as 'amazing' is just not. Every game now is too short, too linear and too dumbed down. PC gamers blame consoles but there is no money to be made from the PC game Market. So it makes more sense to develop games on console and then migrate to PC. However the development of games is dictated by the general public.

Most games players are 12 with annoying whiney voices, short attention span and they need pointers around every corner to know what they are doing. Couple this with the play n' trade Market and then the games industry is painted into a corner. Why should they spend time and money on an original game which challenges the players mind and skill for it to bomb? So it's easy to make an 8 hour on the rails shooter with lots of bells and whistles that will sell by the bucket load.

So the reason the games industry is screwed is because the devs create games for the general public. They complain about the play n' trade Market but they are feeding that Market with their 8 hour linear games.

There is too much hand-holding in games. Arkham City is a victim of this. The game has some cool features, but the hand-holding was too much for me.

Oh, yes, completely. A shining arrow/marker has suddenly appeared in many a FPS/RPG game, as if gamers need to be shown where to go next. Yes, I know you can turn it off, but it's there, and it shouldn't be.

I think Arkham City is incredibly dull, can't get through it!

Heavy Rain is nothing more than an interactive movie. Pretty graphics though.

GTAIV is the best GTA.

I've only ever enjoyed Halo while playing co-op.

Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater is crap. Snake is better when he's infiltrating buildings, not crawling around the grass!

Pro evolution soccer was the best footy game up until PES6! Then Fifa took the crown and still currently holds it!!

I'd happily admit it's crap for games. Though it is nice for rail shooters and Steel Batallion Heavy Armour makes good use of the hardware. I think the best thing it does is the fancy dashboard stuff like voice recognition, and in Mass Effect 3 it really enhances the game. That's about as far as it goes.

There aren't enough games that offer local multiplayer becuase all of the focus has been shifted on to online play...that grinds my gears.

Speaking of gears, I dislike the Gears of War games and the CoD series.

- The Elder Scrolls series is a load of tosh
- Final Fantasy VIII is one of the best in the franchise
- Resident Evil 4 is the worst in the franchise

Dreamcast was better than the playstation 2. Poor marketing killed it.

The most overrated game, of all time, is Plants vs Zombies.

Another one...

There is no justification for Xbox Live gold and people who pay for it try to kid themselves in to believing that it is worth it, but looking at 2 simple facts shows how wrong they are

1, Xbox Live Gold: £40 a year (can be found cheaper) for access to half of a game you have already paid for

2, PS Plus: £40 a year (can be found cheaper) , for before june over £300 pounds of free stuff and now over £45 full playstation 3 games a year plus hundreds of pounds of other stuff for free

Skyrim is a pretty but boring hiking simulator with little to no value as an RPG.
Halo is a overhyped third rate shooter.
BF3 has been ruined by talentless campers who confuse hiding in a bush with tactics.
Call of Duty has been going downhill since COD4.
As a racing game Gran Turismo is garbage.
Bioware's games have been shite since they sold out to Electronic Arse.
Todd Howard is the worlds most uncreative Creative Director.
The FIFA games are made for mugs who pay full price for a yearly patch.

I like Skyrim for the first 20 or so hours, then I get bored stiff.
Same with Mass effect series.

Which is strange because I love games like oblivion and fallout..never ever get bored with them, even after many playthroughs.
