Virgins £60 credit when signing up online offer?
We intend to sign with Virgin in the next week or 2 and noticed online that if you signup online they will credit your account with £60 along with the half price services for 6 months, so a seemingly great offer right now on the face of it.
But it got me thinking as I cant find out on the VM site, just what is and can that £60 of account credit be used for?. I'd have thought in theory it could mean the first 2 & 1/3 months would be totally free if the customer so wishes, but know this in unlikely to be the case in the slightest at all as thats all to easy customer wise. So is it more to be used for on demand, ppv services, chargeable music video viewing, TIVO app buying or the likes?. |

VM credits are usually towards your next bill (or first bill in your case), so it is just "pure cash".
Also remember to go through TCB or Quidco for further cashback (usually over 100 pounds) |

Thanks for that, but still a little unsure on how they would impliment it to pay the first 2 months (and a bit) bills?. You signup and the payment option is via direct debit and assumingly thats how it would be collected each month as a prefered method by VM?.
Also assumingly, like Sky and in the past with VM to process the order in the first place they take the first 2 months or so out up front (payed in advance?) or at least some form of payment if only to verify the payment method\account. Still going to signup anyway, just wandering how others who have used the online exclusive account credit offer have received and been able to use it with reguards to both pay bills or using for pay services?. |
