Evening All,

Missed Monday entirely, saw a bit of yesterday and then finally, got to watch earlier.

I sometimes do them Tommo, but am not at all precious about it. I've had no internet since a week Monday gone
There was a fault on the phone line apparently, which was fixed on Friday teatime, but the bb still wasn't working and we had to have an engineer out this afternoon, so I didn't even know it was on again. Thank you for the links, I'll take a look now that I can

Hhmmm, I found that quite hard to believe to be honest.

Andy - gagagoogoobrmmm. That's me going all gooey. What a guy!! Yes perlease.

Christine and Jenna are really getting on my nerves now. Mainly Christine. Can't wait for Friday to see what they have paid. Then I can boo at the screen.

All's well in sunny Guernsey!

Having no internet would drive me potty!

My two penni'worth for tonight

Andy is lovely and Christine is not.

I think Jenna is probably OK, but her mother comes across as a self styled "character" who is probably not that pleasant. The marking from her seemed harsh, and she did it all with the "jolly grin". Hmmm The "posh" couple tomorrow see the most likeable, but I hope I am not wrong about them.

Nice bunch for the most part. Thank goodness no leather/wrapping paper shirts though they might've been more use than the miniature towels.
Still don't get the obsession with cooked breakfasts.

Yes funny enough i prefer Jenna to her mother lol.

I have been to the Portcullis but many moons ago when it was not ruined. It used to be a great historical type hotel lol with a carvery.A few of my guests stayed there 16 years ago when i got married in Sodbury. My mum lives just up the road. It is a very historical building listed, and the rooms were a bit old fashioned then, but i like that. I am not sure they had all had ensuites then though or if they did they didnt have see through doors. Now they have modernised the inside it looks nothing like the old creepy place we visited lol.

There have been a few complaints of noise in the town from this hotel.

Its been turned into a modern bistro style with lots of noisey entertainment. Not the sort of place for an old style town with lots of oldies living in it lol.

It looked fine though and clean.

I had to laugh at that BG. At least they had a slip mat. I didnt think his rooms were expensive. We have been to Bournmouth and the hotels were very pricey. I thought his rooms were great I love everything Asian so would have enjoyed it.

Why was everyone getting on the case of the guy (with no front teeth) just because he has been to the far east? So have i.

Bali is off Indonesia, its a miss match of styles and cultures, incuding, India, china, australasia, and Japan.

Did you ever watch the film with Julia Roberts Eat Pray Love, it was filmed on a beach in Bali, and to be honest if you didnt know you would think she was in Thailand lol.

I loved his hotel, would stay there. Mind you he is a bit tasty too isnt he lol.

I must admit that I wasn't paying much attention at that point, but didn't he say something like 'All those Far Eastern countries are the same'?

I found it very interesting to read your post.

I did wonder about the noise and how the neighbours may feel about it, it did look like a quiet, quaint street.

A couple of people we know say its not so much the noise coming from the pub, but the people who leave it late and drunk lol and insist on talking loud to where ever they are going.

That sort of price is for people that want to throw money away and perhaps Jimmy Carr.
