Help fund the Vita's first crowd funded game
With crowd-funded games being all over the headlines, here's one for the PS Vita (and PC). It's a space combat title, Starlight Inception, by an ex-LucasArts developer with music from a World of Warcraft composer - very much in the X-Wing, Wing Commander vein.
Find out more here at Kickstarter, contributing $15 gets you a copy of the game, so why not give it a go? |

If it fails to get funded I've lost nothing and if it does get funded I've got a decent looking game for $15 I think Kickstarter is fast emerging as a viable alternative for Game devs to get funding for more interesting titles that the main studios may veto at the initial premise stage as to risky I await to see what other vita games appear on there

Bump, people complaining about the lack of software for Vita should get onto this, help get some games developed for the system

Success!
Starlight reached its funding target, now officially in development!
Hope it plays as good as it promises. |

For 1st party titles no it shouldnt but Third Party support is governed by retail sales of games on a system and to support a third party developer through kickstarter is a great way of doing this

You're seriously best off not asking DigitalSpy forum goers for support, out of all the forums I've seen KickStarter stuff on, DigitalSpy has been the least interested and any comments are from people moaning about having to put up money for a game being made, etc.
