Most Horrible House Ever?

I honestly can't recall a series in which I have personally actively disliked so many housemates. I find Caroline and Asheigh in particular absolutely hideous, their bitchiness, pettyness and general way of speaking make me want to turn off the tv.

I also dislike although to a lesser extent: Connor, Lydia, Deana, Becky, Sara and Arron. Of the remaining housemates none with the possible exception of Lauren and Luke A are particularly likeable to me, although strangely I've found Luke S generaly ok so far.

The general bitchiness, gameplaying and outright nastiness is at a level that I certainly can't recall seeing before throughout the house.

Would people agree with me in saying that this is the nastiest and least likeable house we have seen?

You know as much as Ch. 5 complains about these forums, I'm getting the sense that they are taking what forum folks say a lot more.

There has been a lot of talk here about how the constant nomination talk was making them all hard to connect with and how people were turned off, and lo and behold, they stop nom talk.

I think they reason they stopped the nom talk is they realized what you did- it was turning you off to the whole bunch of them, as it was with me.

I don't agree at all. The main baddie seems to be Arron, and if you think of previous baddies then he's hardly scratched the surface. As for the bitching....I feel it's being made to seem worse than it actually is, I haven't seen anything particularly vindictive more gameplaying.

I don't think the house is all that unlikeable personally. Sure, we've seen a lot of bitching but I don't really get the sense from any of them that they're properly nasty people like I have some in the past. Everyone bitches so I don't really have a problem with that even though there has been a lot.

A few series have had some genuinely unlikeable characters who actually seem like nasty people in real life. BB6 had quite a horrible collection, BB7 had quite an uncomfortable gang mentality at the start, BB8 was completely brought down by Carole's behaviour etc. No one this series has yet to have me convinced I would run a mile if I ever saw them walking down the street.

I totally agree with you. Even on your choice of most disliked Ash and Caroline are abnoxious. I do like Lauren and Benedict, Adam and Shev though. Both Lukes are ok imo.

most definately, no genuine relationships, friendships, characters.

Its too individualistic, and its so negative. I dont really like any of the HM's that are featuring heavily (the quieter 5 are 'normal' BB housemates, but BB arent interestes because they arent the loudest< go figure).

Ok I wont deny that itsentertaining, but for the entire duration of the show I just cant see all this negativty carrying it through. I really love the funny moments the most.

I usually find I like a little over half of the housemates, I like two of this bunch.

I love this years housemates. I love the bitching. I don't want to watch a bunch of people lounging around all buddy-buddy with each other all summer.

I'm not necessarily saying it's not entertaining, fights and bitchiness are a major part of the show. I'm just saying that to me at least, the majority of the housemates are really unlikeable.

No, but you dont want the same repetative negative sh*te either

You need a balance and this year we dont unfortunately

You want entertaining HM's AND HM's you actually like

The problem is too many of them know the game. Too many game players.

I think BB have shot themselves in the foot here by allowing the nomination discussions to take place far too early. Perhaps it would've worked midway through the show as by then we would've seen a less appealing side of their characters and got to know them better through having normal conversations instead of all bitching and talking non-stop why they want so and so up. It's made a very negative house and ultimately has the forum trying to defend the indefensible as nobody has came out of it squeeky clean.

I Just hope that the switch works and we see a more upbeat and positive house now that the pressure is off the hms. From the vid clip that I seen earlier, quite a few of them seemed relieved that they don't have to do this anymore.
