LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes' announced

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/gaming/n...announced.html

Quote:
LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes has been announced by TT Games and Warner Bros Interactive.

First rumoured in November, the sequel will see Batman and Robin joined by other DC characters, including Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern.

They will attempt to save Gotham City from the double threat of villains Lex Luthor and the Joker.

As well as new areas to explore, heroes will be aided by vehicles such as the Batmobile and Batwing, and all new gadgets including Batman's Power Suit and Robin's Hazard Cannon.

"LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes builds upon the action and co-operative gameplay experience established in our best-selling LEGO video game to date, LEGO Batman: The Videogame," said TT Games' managing director Tom Stone.

"We're offering fans a rich and expansive Gotham City environment filled with cool characters, great customisation options and plenty of surprises that families, young gamers and DC Universe fans can enjoy together."

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, DS, 3DS and Vita this summer.

The game looks fantastic and some of the new features such as an open world gotham city have made this a must buy for me

i know its early days

But does anyone know if the PS3 and the Vita versions are different enough to justify getting both?

Cause the vita version is on the PS store now and i'm so tempted to get it but my preferred version is the ps3 one if they are the same

From what I've read the 3ds versions is the same as the console version. So would assume the same applies to the Vita version. Don't take my word on though as I only read this on youtube.

I played the demo for PC today and fantastic game. Hope I get my copy from Amazon in the next few days.

Has anyone playing the PC demo had problems using the mouse to control the characters?

I've got the demo and was impressed by the opening, but I can only use keyboard, despite there being an option to use another device.

Tried the demo on 360 but it didn't let you play with any of the new sandbox elements. It was ok but I think I'm gonna really love it on the 3DS.

PC ports of current games just suck unless you have a really expensive up to date system.

To be fair to Game though, 99% of pre-orders I have made with them, the games come on the Thursday before they are released on Friday. Thats why I use them.

I went for this on 360 since I learned that the 3DS version lacks any of the open world elements, shame. It even comes with a Lux luthor Lego mini set.

Ever since the Mass Effect 3 debacle where they didn't inform me that they'd cancelled my order until 2 days before release, i now flat out refuse to shop with them. That's why i thought it was funny when someone said that "GAME care about their customers", because on that evidence i strongly beg to differ. I just don't trust them anymore.

We got a sheet with a PSN code to unlock 5 characters with the game from Game.
Everyone get that ??

Still think its weird the character talk in the game at times.
