am i the only one doesn't care about the negativity?
literally think of the positives, people on this forum never think of the positives!
we have geri! the most famous of the most famous girl band of the EARTH!!! guys music has no time limit guys, wether they were cheesy or not they made history! leona! - probably the second biggest thing to come from a reality (im challenged by saying 1D but i really dont want to as they are no where near as talented!) behind kelly clarkson rita ora - literally the biggest thing up and coming in the uk mel b - pretty much the same as geri! - nicole - right everyone loved her on the UK show in 2010 so just lets see how she does on here dont just 2011 USA x factor that was a complete hash up of a show! just see the positive guys!! i really think this could be the best series yet! both jade and melanie are coming back too both immensely talented people! i think the talent is good! i just hope that they dont ruin it! |

And Jedward are going to be on the Xtra factor
I know I'm asking for trouble saying that, but for a lot of us that is a big positive.

No, because Scherzinger's on the show and will turn this year into one, if not the best season of X factor.

No, I'm looking forward to the next one and a lot of the arguments put forward for how bad Nicole/the other judges are are just getting boring now.
Steve Jones was also on US X Factor. He was terrible yet he's a really good and competent presenter over here. Paula has a good track record as a judge on American Idol, but she wasn't great either. Nicole was brilliant on our series in 2010 (blame the edit etc, but they can't show what she didn't do, and wasn't great on the edited equivalent stages in the US). Cheryl was dropped after 2 days for being bewildered, but the ratings shot up when she joined UK X Factor (as did her profile), she had a very successful career off the back of it and they fell again when she left. If FOUR people with a previous good track record failed on US X Factor, then its too much of a coincidence for it to be the individuals themselves, and these comparisons often go unnoticed when people are saying how bad a signing Nicole is to X Factor UK. Shes a big name here, shes more comfortable here (just see her on chatshows to see that), shes in the papers all the time here, and 95% of people who will watch X Factor UK won't have seen her on X Factor US. Next, last years panel was fantastic until the live shows and the ratings were up on the previous year, and it wasn't editing because I saw it at the auditions. It only became boring and stale once they all turned on each other and not in a 'good TV' way. The same happened during series 4, yet the weak link on the panel was replaced, going from the worst to best panel in the space of a year and only replacing one person. If Louis, Tulisa, Gary and Kelly were great at first last year, whats to say the series 9 line up won't be an improvement and more consistent through the competition? She really lit the show up last time she appeared. Finally, it really makes me laugh how people want Anastacia as the judge when that opinion is based purely on press reports, yet not taking into account her disasterous stint on Don't Stop Believing. I'm looking forward to seeing her stint but I don't expect her to live up to the hype. |
