Is O2 Broadband £9.50 the best deal available?

This is what I'm currently on, but searching around to see if there are any better deals, but this deal seems the best by quite a long shot.

That is with the £5 discount for having an O2 mobile? That is the deal I am on and no plans to change as it is truly unlimited with no traffic management.

I'm on that also.

And BT STILL ring up and try to get me to pay almost £30 a month again. Not a hope!

I guess so, as it the only one less that £10.00. It does mention 20Gb a month usage though.

Home Broadband & Home Phone

For Catchup TV and Music they appear to recommend the unlimited option at £12.50 a month (for an existing O2 customer).

Unfortunately their current offerings are not as attractive as the old package the OP and myself were talking about.

I was on the old O2 legacy package until last month also. No problems whatsoever and a uk based call center too.
But finally moved to sky bb as their unlimited is £7.50 and I got 6 months free plus one years phone rental for £12 l
Touch wood, no problems with sky yet.
Btw O2 will give u 6 months free broadband if u ring up their cancellations dept. I was too paranoid to do this as I didn't want to be 'accidentally' put on their new rubbish packages

I'm currently paying £9.50, and have been with them for two years (June 2010), so I'm probably on a similar legacy plan.

Unfortunately the only info I can quote is their current deals.

I'm paying £6.25 for their All Rounder package.

I have to top up an old O2 PAYG SIM with £10 every three months, but I resell the credit to sellyourcredit.com for 60% of it's value, so it just works out to £4 every three months.

I've always found O2 to be quite accomodating when negotiating broadband charges. I just use the Broadband Availability Checker on Samknows.com and then ask O2 to do better.

That really is a good idea. Brilliant!!

When I moved into my apartment. I haggled with BT and got a free line reactivation.
I chose o2 as my internet provider. The staff and service were great.
I was with O2 for 4 years snd jumped on the landline when they 1st started it up.

I then chose TalkTalk that was short lived I am now back with Virgin Media.

If O2 had chose to resell FTTC I would still be with them.

£6.25 ?? How? Anyway, too late for me. I've moved away from them. Sort of wish I was still with O2. Never had a problem with them to be honest.

Moving to the All Rounder package is £12.50 a month if you are already with O2. But you get if half price for the first twelve/six months (depending on how long you have been with them):-
