Picked cause they can sing any one of them would have made a good wild card but together they are not practised long enough and they are shaky on the self belief as a group. Off key and nervous last week but pretty as a button on the eye.

There isn't much to say about them yet. I didn't think much of their performance last week although they proved at the auditions that are all good singers.
Here's hoping that they get a better song choice and a decent wardrobe this week.

Well, they're not just boring. I happen to think they are PANTS!!! My respect for Hayley Williams went up 10 fold after their abysmal attempt at the chorus to Airplanes. But, how many girl groups does one chart need? Seriously? That and they were formed at bootcamp. I'm a 24 year old female, girl power died with the Spice Girls

(I do quite like some Girls Aloud songs but other than that,,,)

It said in the Irish Daily Star yesterday that they're doing a Kinks song this week and that Rebecca is doing lead vocals...

Which one is Rebecca?

I thought they were better than One Direction last week.

They're a girl group; nobody likes girl groups on X-Factor.

I'm surprised they managed to survive last week's double vote off.

That's a very sweeping statement.

Traditionally girl bands have not fared very well on XFactor - neither have females over 25. It doesn't mean nobody likes them.

Belle Amie are all fine solo singers. It's the singing together that is so testing in these early stages.

Anyways - glad we're talking about them - as that what the thread is all about

I like Bell Amie.

They are really interesting and the best girl group I have seen on this show probably.

I think they are sexy and contemporary. Their version of B.o.B and Hayley Williams really worked for me and their not bad for a group that have just been thrown together.

i like girl groups and so do others. Its time a girlband one the show tbh and this could be the year.

you have to remember JLS started off slow but im sure the girls will be fine the longer they are in the show.

You're quite right, it was a bit too much of a sweeping statement, but like you've said, it's just that girl groups don't do well on XF.

Saying that, Belle Amie have already bucked the trend by surviving a double vote off last week, so that is good news for them.

I wasn't expecting this old thread to get bumped up and I wasn't even around here at the time.

This comment is so ironic now...

More deplorable than acts like Cher Lloyd, Frankie Cocozza, Eoghan Quigg, Nu Vibe, Wagner and Lloyd Daniels?

I do agree however that they were simultaneously bland and rubbish.
