Sky Connect - Dreadful
I've recently moved house and I had the full range of Virgin Media services in my last home, but these are not available where I live now. I moved all of my services to Sky and while the TV and phone are fine, I'm becoming hugely disillusioned with the Connect Broadband service.
I don't expect the 50mb speed I was expecting before, but I was told I could reasonably expect 10-12meg. I've been in a week now and the best speed I've had is 7mb. Tonight - 1mb! ![]() I can't play games at all or download anything except at very low speeds. I think I'm signed up for a year, but I've seen that the line can handle better than the service being provided currently. Can I change Broadband provider if I act quickly? |

Sky Connect reputation is as notorious as Virgin National and O2 Access......if you do a search in this forum you'll see why.
As far as I know, Sky Connect is only the BT IPStream up to 8meg product and not the BT WBC up to 20meg so there was no chance of you seeing 10-12meg. Post back the result from here >>> www.speedtester.bt.com |
