Games that don't need live
I recently set up my xbox in my bedroom after a little redecorating and don't have access to xbox live in there, i also don't have gold at the moment either, i was wondering what are the best 360 games to get that i can fully enjoy and still if i want to be able to get the full 1000G
I for the most part enjoy Devil may cry/ God of War / Bayonetta style hack n slash games and rpgs and i usually tend to like superhero games and open world games |

Try Assassins Creed and AC2 . Both have 1000G that doesn't require xbox live and both are excellent games. Keep you going for ages.

I really enjoy a good blast on Just Cause 2. No multiplayer.

I thought part of the achievement policy is that you would need nothing more than the bog standard xbox to get all achs. Especially not live. I know I've said that before but i could have sworn developers were meant to bear that in mind so as not to penalise people that don't want live....

Then how could MS convince/strong-arm people to fork out for Live Gold if they didn't lock half the features for most games behind a pay wall?

If you like hack and slash, have you tried Castlevania Lords of Shadow? I was pleasantly surprised by it and should be cheap to pick up.

I went on Xbox Live a while ago, but as soon as the free trial ran out I didn't really see the point.
For me, gaming is a few mates, a few cans and FIFA, or a darkened room, curtains closed and Fallout 3, not some random Yank telling you "you suck, I pwned you". That's just me though. |
