Because they are bullies. Deana not eating did not effect them or the outcome of the task. I would understand them being annoyed if Deana failed the entire task for them meaning they got no prize, but that simply isn't the case.

[quote=Timalloy84;59098932]As far as I seen, all she did was make herself ineligible for the individual prize. Don't know why they, then got so upset.[/QUOTE
That's what I was wondering! It may have something to do with their IQs as to why they didn't 'get it'

They were competing against each other. It was NOT a group task.
Best to ignore anything Becky says, she is ignorant. |

This is exactly what we were thinking in our household last night. Did the task instructions state that the nature of the "prize" was related to whether all HMs passed their individual elements of it? Because to us it seemed like the only cost of Deana failing was that Deana was ineligible for the "prize" (well that and the flack she got afterwards of course).

I can't believe that they are saying that she didn't try, she obviously tried, she had the food in her mouth and was trying to chew it but her gag reflexes wouldn't let her swallow it. Loads of the others were gagging too but obviously their gag reflexes weren't as strong as hers.

They seem to have assumed they would have got a better prize if Deana hadn't failed though we haven't heard BB confirm or deny this, so far as I know.
Basically, Deana's failing was just another excuse for them to big each other up and attack her. |

They convinced themselves that Deana's failure meant that Conor received a worse prize than he would have if they all passed.
In other words, they were clutching at straws to hate Deana, as per usual. |

It was cock ups all round! The group wrongly assumed Deana had failed the task for them and Deana thought she was eating beef when it was in fact processed ham! Must admit after what some of the housemates ate and drank it was a pretty lame effort by her.

It was a lame effort, but she didn't deserve what she got. In my opinion, Lydia eating custard was worse, a very weird reaction.

Don't forget it was also covered in HOT sauce, a fact that seems to be overlooked.

I wouldn't have been able to swallow that either, spam on it's own yeh but add hot sauce to that - no way. Would have rather had the Dog Food or the Stinky Tofu. Other than Becky none of the other woman got anything nasty to eat but the ignorant "cool kids" don't see that

I think Conor is terrified that he has the responsibility of doing the arithmatic and having to please all the housemates with his choices

No, but Becky saw an opportunity to further victimise an already isolated housemate. Nasty piece of work.
