I think Diana should be let rest in peace. Life has moved on and while she will, of course, always be an important part of her sons' lives and her sisters and brother's, constant public commemorations would be tacky and morbid.

I hope not. Between the Olympics, Euro 2012 and American election there'll be little enough worth watching on TV without adding anything else. And it's already a bank holiday, and we had a Royal Wedding and a Diamond Jubilee in the last two years, people are already aware of the Royal Family.
