iPad Screen Protector
I've noticed a couple of very light scratches on my iPad 3 screen. They are thankfully not noticable while using the iPad. I only noticed them under my bed side light with the screen off.
So to stop any further scratches, I've been looking at screen protectors but don't know which one to go for (my iPad is already in a case). I've spotted a couple on Amazon, including this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...=AH656DYJZD6JZ Can anyone recommend this one or any others? The only thing that concerns me is fitting it, I had one for my iPod Touch a few years ago and it was a right pain to fit. |

I don't have one on my iPad 3, but I used one of these on my iPad 2:

Doesn't make sense to cover such a nice screen. My iPad 1 used every day has no scratches. |

Yeah you need to ensure the Ipad has a case of some description but if you put a screen protector on you are missing out on the responsiveness of the screen. As previously said just give it a wipe, the screen that is, every now and again.

I try not to spend to much on screen protectors, because, well the ipad uses gorilla glass and that is nearly indestrucable, in regard to scratches, but i use these ipad screen protectors, and they work fine. But in the future i will probably pick up even cheaper multi packs, they are and should be disposable, imo of course

Thanks for your replies.
I bought a 6 pack of screen protectors off eBay which were listed as 'bubble free' but when they arrived, they were the same cheap screen protectors that are difficult to fit without getting bubbles! I must say I'm really disappointed, they don't seem to be sticking properly round the edges (luckily my iPad is in a case so it is holding the protectors in place) and the amount of finger prints and dust on the screen is far worse than before. Plus, there are now loads of little scratches all over the screen, I presume they are on the protector itself. I think I might end up removing it. |
