Exactly.. If Reggie & Co. didnt make such a big deal of slating The X Factor before their first show had even aired these comparisons wouldnt still be happening..

What he seems to be saying it's ok for The Voice judges and hosts to take shots at X Factor but for anyone to criticise The Voice is wrong?!

This,I like Reggie but he comes off as a bit of a saw loser in this article not sure if he was misquoted but he has been bad mouthing X Factor non stop even before the first episode of The Voice UK even started saying how it would expose X Factor as a "contrived talent show" and how The Voice would be the "death of X Factor".
