Saw this today in Sainsbury. However I haven't seen the tv show , so does that matter?.

No. The name is the same but the storylines and characters are not i dont think

A couple of characters from the show appear, but it doesn't have much an effect on the story.

TBH it's not great, the story will draw you in if you like the show but the combat is awful.
