Jessica was chasing after Claude. We met him last season in fairyland but he was played by a different actor then.

Good episode, should have guessed that Jason/Sookie's parents were killed by vampires!

I didn't think that this episode was as good as people had said it would be (It was supposed to be the best episode so far), but I still enjoyed it!

Is anyone else doubting that Nora's sanguinista? At first I thought it was meant to be obvious that she was lying, but after watching the last episode, they don't seem to be playing it that way.

I will be watching this season when it's shown in the UK - what's happening with Jason this season?

Not a bad episode, a bit slow moving in some parts though.

I wished the Terry and Patrick flashbacks in Iraq and meeting Eller in the present day were interesting but I felt like fast forwarding through most of those scenes to be honest. I want to care about that stuff but I just don't for some reason.

Nice to see Emory and Suzanne back on the show and now that they're dead, I guess it gives Sam another storyline to get on with. Where the hell is Luna in all of this though?

Nice that the Debbie storyline is mostly being resolved with Alcide pinning her death on Marcus to the Pelts and Jessica getting Andy to forget about the whole thing. Not ethical I know but it gets the job done.

Sookie needs to get drunk more often. I found her bloody hilarious in this episode and I didn't mind her smooching up with Alcide too. Lucky girl.

Bill and Eric continue to be fun as well this season and I enjoyed their scenes with Jessica and Pam in this episode too.

Pam's scenes with Tara and the latter's scenes with Bill were great too. I like that Tara is trying to maintain some of her humanity, even if Pam is going to make that a challenge for her too.

Fairy stuff is getting interesting. Nice to see Andy with Maurella and nice to see Jason getting some information out of Hadley as well. I want more of fairyland stuff.

Authority is improving a little. I liked Roman more in this episode, the Nora/Salome scenes were interesting and yippee, that annoying child vampire is no more.

Last week's was better but this was decent though, 7/10.

Not really liking this season too much I'm afraid. The one thing I really enjoy is the relationships between all the vampires, I would be so happy just watching a show that focussed on that.

All the stories just don't seem to be connected, right now Tara is off with Pam, Sookie is getting it on with Alcide, Sam has his shifter friends, Lafayette is just on his own and Bill and Eric are having this new bromance.

I rewatched Season 4 just before season 5 started and although it was great to remind me of everything that happened last year, I just can't help thinking that in the True Blood universe it only happened a few days ago. Would Lafayette be back at work so soon after losing Jesus and Tara? Would Sookie be with Alcide after declaring love for Bill and Eric just 3 days ago and would Alcide be ok with Sookie after she just killed his ex girlfriend?

Tara seems better as a vampire.

Loved Eric and Pam together very touching (actress who plays Pam has had way too much surgery though!) - also Bill and Jessica was good.

Alcide & Sookie - finally! Poor Eric though he doesn't seem too concerned!

Great episode!

Sookie was very naughty. She doesn't love Alcide, she was just drunk and wanted a jump to cheer herself up. Admittedl, you can't really blame her, but still, she's messing with his heart.

And I am really liking Tara as a vamp.

Oh, and I'm glad it was Bieber Vamp who was the traitor, rather than Sharon Osborne, Evil Magician or Morpheus.

I also like Tara as a vamp, its interesting.
Sookie and Alcide are finally getting it on! About time.
Looks like Sam's finally gotten a storyline.
I like the blossoming bromance between Eric and Bill.
I'm really growing to like Jessica as well.
I wish Terry wasnt a main character, I find him so boring. His storylines are boring too.
Also, I LOVED seeing the fairies again, and Hadley!
So I'm guessing that bar was supposed to be Hooligans from the books, it was cool to see, though I wish Claude was there.

It was a bit odd not seeing Claude there and I'm thinking that the murder of Suzanne and Emory is taking a plot thread from Book 5 as well.

It's about time Sookie and Alcide got jiggy! Glad that little brat is gone.

Loved the scenes with Pam and Tara. I think I'm starting to like Tara again now, she seems like she's going to be a pretty interesting vampire. I think Pam is a great maker!

I skipped Terry's scenes as I find his character boring and the story is just not interesting at all.

Loved Lafayette going all crazy with Sookie's car.

Best part of the episode was Sookie's drunk singing!

Worst - episode - ever.

As I said earlier in the thread, this show has become terrible, I hope HBO don't mess Game of Thrones up as much as they have with True Blood. It has turned into a soap opera. Dull.

Terry's storyline is a snoozefest. I am assuming that something supernatural is hunting them down but at the moment I just don't care.

This episode was a little shaky but nowhere near as bad as anything from season 4.

I'd be interested to know why they cut away when bieber vamp got staked.

I'm enjoying this series too so far. Also, I don't really mind Tara, but do think it was a bit of a stretch to have her being more or less like her normal self even though her brains were obviously blown out.

Bit of an overreaction. It wasn't the show at it's best but it certainly had good moments in it - Eric/Pam, Pam/Tara, Bill/Jessica, Sookie/Alcide to name a few.

Well Game of Thrones really has to stick with the source material whereas True Blood has absolutely nothing in common with the books anymore except the same characters.

Someone up thread said the the books weren't that good but I personally enjoyed each and every one. They're fluff but they are well written, with great characters and always a great mystery/whodunnit story.

I like the books but the characters IMO are more interesting in the series.

It's probably just the fact that he's a kid. There's probably laws regarding showing violence towards children etc (well, you know what I mean) on tv.

We've had the welcome back, concluded the loose ends and now move forward with the main foundations of this season. As episodes go it wasn't great and I'd forgot that they'd changed Hadley from the books. I'm enjoying that they are adding more book story lines to the show to keep it connected.

I'm not even starting to think where the Terry storyline is going. I'm hoping it isn't something "supernatural" and it's a case of him meeting his own personal demon's head on. Thus giving him a chance of a "sane" life... Not that he wasn't doing well prior to this story line.

Yes, but those are all 'relationship' issues, which, as I pointed out, is feeding the needs of viewers of girlie Soap Opera. If people are watching True Blood just to see if Alcide snogs Sookie or Eric finally cops off with Pam then fine, but the show is over as far as I'm concerned.

If I wanted to watch crap like that I'd watch Coronation Street.
